The AI Movement:
Driving AI Fluency and Transformation in the Modern Workplace
Project Overview
The AI Movement is an AI enablement program to accelerate enterprise-wide adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot and to embed AI culture into new ways of working. The initiative aimed to enhance productivity, encourage innovation, and strengthen digital capability across all business functions.
As the Change Manager, I led the people side of this transformation—focusing on stakeholder engagement, communication, capability development, and sustained adoption. I was responsible for designing and executing the change management strategy, ensuring employees not only adopted AI tools but also embraced a new way of working.
The Challenge
Low adoption of M365 Copilot tools following deployment.
Employee resistance to learning new tools and changing work habits.
Fear of job displacement and uncertainty about AI’s role.
Information overload and lack of clarity on practical use cases.

Collaborative
Approach
I led the change management stream of the AI Enablement Program, which included:
Managing cross-functional stakeholders across IT, HR, and business units to ensure alignment and sponsorship.
Designing and facilitating leadership and employee engagement sessions to drive awareness and commitment.
Establishing and managing an AI Ambassador Network to champion adoption at the business-unit level.
Developing learning journeys, including AI awareness content, e-learning modules, and tailored workshops by function.
Coordinating communications and reinforcement activities to sustain momentum.
The program was executed through a cross-functional partnership:
AI Center of Excellence (COE): Developed the enterprise AI strategy and framework guiding rollout priorities and governance.
IT: Managed infrastructure, product, AI access, and technical implementation.
HR: Led enterprise upskilling and integrated AI learning into the broader capability framework.
Business Units: Defined use cases based on operational priorities to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Through close collaboration with these partners, I ensured change readiness was embedded across all phases of the program..
Change Management Strategy
01 Awareness
Establishing the Case for Change
I provided support to the AI COE in organizing a Strategic Leadership Workshop to align our leadership team on the opportunities and risks surrounding AI adoption. Key outcomes included:
A unified AI vision and business case for leaders to communicate.
Clear role modeling expectations for leaders to champion the change.
Leadership sponsorship became the cornerstone for driving organization-wide awareness.
02 Desire
Fostering Commitment and Engagement
To build motivation and interest among employees:
I coordinated AI Industry Talks, inviting experts from Microsoft, AWS, and Salesforce to share emerging trends and real-world success stories.
I launched the AI Ambassador Program, selecting and mentoring champions within each business unit to promote adoption, share positive use cases, and address local concerns.
These efforts reframed AI adoption as an enabler of personal growth and value creation, rather than a threat to job security.
03 Knowledge
Building Skills and Confidence
To ensure employees could apply AI effectively:
CoPilot Class: I designed and facilitated the hands-on workshops tailored to each function (Finance, HR, Legal, Strategic Communications), focusing on prompting, GenAI production and workflow transformation through M365 Copilot and Adobe Express.
Ethical AI E-Learning: Assist HR and AI COE to promote e-learning module ensuring governance as part of AI foundation across the organization.
Agentic AI Workshop: Discovery workshop on the possibility of Agentic AI to automate business use case.
These structured learning streams developed both the technical understanding and confidence for employees to use AI responsibly and productively.
04 Ability
Enabling Application and Empowerment
To make adoption seamless and scalable, I utilized the platforms available developed by our partners:
M365 Campus; a self-learning portal with structured tutorials, templates, and user guides for employees.
I championed the AI Movement Community, a space for collaboration, peer learning, and idea sharing in Viva Engage.
CoPilot Adoption Dashboard: I track adoption metrics to identify active vs. inactive Copilot users. The reports generated are shared with ambassadors to assist them in targeting inactive users who require support.
AI Hackathon: Empowered employee to build their own use case to improve their business.
This approach bridged learning to hands-on application, promoting continuous improvement and collaboration across departments.
05 Reinforcement
Sustaining Change and Scaling Success
To embed AI use and sustain momentum over time:
Maintained visible sponsorship through leadership communications and success storytelling.
Empowered ambassadors to celebrate team-level wins and troubleshoot adoption barriers.
Used adoption data and feedback loops to refine training materials and guide further improvement.
Reinforcement activities ensured that AI adoption became a continuous journey of learning and experimentation rather than a one-off initiative.

Increase adoption across the business: 4,329 active Copilot users, marking a 98.5% increase from early 2024.
More than 250 employees from 4 regions were upskilled in Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Reduced onboarding time through standardized training and self-service resources.
Mindset shift: employees now view AI as a productivity enhancer, not a replacement.
Improved digital confidence and readiness to adopt future technologies.
Stronger leadership alignment and cultural acceptance of change.
Thriving internal AI community fostering ongoing collaboration and idea-sharing.
The Impact
This AI Enablement Program demonstrates how structured change management can transform employee resistance into readiness, creating a confident and resilient workforce prepared for the evolving digital landscape.
